Blind Alley projects presents Liminal Space: Zeke Williams, Sky Hook May 23 – June 3, 2021

The artist explains the impetus of Sky Hook, “The idea to create this large Quetzalcoatlus came to me during a fever dream I had in March of 2020 while recovering from Covid-19. I think I was influenced by the museum in the game Animal Crossing : New Horizons, which we were playing at the time along with many other people under quarantine. Sky Hook is only about ½ scale of an actual Quetzalcoatlus, whose wingspan could reach as large as 40 feet across. I’m hoping this piece turns Blind Alley into a localized roadside attraction for the two weeks that it is up.”

Artist’s bio Zeke Williams lives and works in Dallas, TX. He enjoys opera, NBA basketball, drag performance, and sandwiches served on French bread.
